Radiant heat is an extremely comfortable option to more conventional heating systems. Durable, flexible tubing is installed under the floor. Warm water is circulated through the tubing and heat is radiated up through the floor. The result: warm tile floors in the bathroom, warm hardwood floors, warm linoleum, and warm carpeting. Warm feet. All winter long. People feel more comfortable at lower temperatures with radiant heat so it's fuel-efficient. Radiant heat heats people and objects, not the air. No hot air is wasted by escaping through windows, doors, etc. There are no more worries about blocking radiators, baseboards or vents. No dust, no noisy fans. The system is encased beneath the floor.
